This Privacy Policy explains how Lep Elevate Partners d.o.o., operating as InterCapital Investment Banking · Slovenia ("we", "us", the "Company"), collects and processes personal data in connection with our website and our M&A and capital advisory services. We are the data controller under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the "GDPR") and the Slovenian Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2).

Contact data you provide when you request a conversation, email us, or book a call — such as your name, company, email, phone number, and role.
Transaction-related information you choose to share when discussing a potential mandate (for example, indicative financials or your objectives).
Technical data collected automatically when you visit the website — such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed — via cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).

3. Why we process it and our legal basis

To respond to your enquiry and provide our services — on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract, or performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
To communicate with you and manage our client relationships — on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
To comply with legal obligations, including anti-money-laundering, tax, and accounting requirements (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
To operate and improve the website — on the basis of your consent for non-essential cookies, or our legitimate interests for essential ones.

4. Confidentiality

We treat all information shared in the context of a potential or actual transaction as strictly confidential. We are happy to enter into a non-disclosure agreement before any substantive discussion.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We may share it with: trusted service providers acting on our behalf (for example, IT, hosting, and scheduling tools, bound by confidentiality); professional advisers; members of the InterCapital group and the Mergers Alliance network where relevant to a mandate and subject to appropriate safeguards; and public authorities where required by law.

6. International transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on adequacy decisions or appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above, including to meet legal, accounting, and regulatory retention requirements. Enquiry data that does not lead to a relationship is deleted within a reasonable period.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability.
